Biographical notes on contributors

Viera Bacova, PhD, teaches psychology at the Presov University, Slovakia. She previously worked as a researcher at the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Kosice, Slovakia. Her work has introduced ISA to the wider social science community in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Her research interests include ethnic identity and historical change, gender issues and contemporary movements in psychology.

Selwyn Black, PhD, is an associate lecturer in counselling/social psychology at the University of Ulster.
