Chapter 3: $H_{\infty}$ control with transients for singular systems

Abstract

The chapter considers the $H_{\infty}$ control problem of singular systems with nonzero initial conditions. A new performance measure is introduced. Based on this performance, necessary and sufficient conditions of new $H_{\infty}$ performance analysis are proposed. Then the state-feedback controller is designed such that the closed-loop system is admissible and satisfies the new $H_{\infty}$ performance.
