You are currently employed by the TSWB Corp. at the Beaumont, Texas, plant, and you have been assigned to the allyl chloride facility. A serious situation has developed at the plant, and you have been assigned to assist with troubleshooting the problems that have arisen.
Recently, our sister plant in Alabama was shut down by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) for violations concerning sulfur dioxide emissions from a furnace in the allyl chloride facility.
