More and more, smartphones are becoming our gateway to the Internet. From shopping to doing quick research, your Android smartphone is a handy and available tool for hitting the Internet anytime and anywhere. And just as there are a million things to do on the Internet, there are nearly just as many ways to browse the Internet on an Android smartphone. Luckily, your Android smartphone comes preinstalled with one of the premiere web browsers — Google Chrome.

Remember If you are using a Samsung smartphone, your phone may have the Samsung Internet Browser installed by default and not Chrome.

However, if you used Chrome in the past and it is not your thing, or you just want a change of pace, you are free to install any number of other web browsers. In this chapter, you explore how to use Google Chrome on your smartphone as well as how to install third-party browsers to access the Internet.
