Chapter 8. Applying the Design
Once you have a design ready to implement, you have to start breaking it apart into the various Android views needed to re-create the design as faithfully as possible. The first step to this is to really understand the design, and this means that the designer and developer need to communicate early and often. Once the developer knows what the designer intends, the developer can communicate what assets are needed and begin implementing the design. This chapter focuses on both the communication between the developer and the designer and the techniques a developer can use to create the design in the app.
