Appendix A. Google Play Assets

Google Play is the primary method for distributing Android apps, and it has the largest world-wide reach of any Android app store. Although there is no lengthy review process, you should have all of your assets ready for the store before you launch the app, even if you’re doing a “soft” launch (that is, a launch with no explicit publicity). Having the right assets ensures that you reach the maximum number of users by showing them what is great about your app and by enabling it to be featured by Google Play.
