Multimedia—whether we’re talking about images, videos, or audio—has become a key driver of mobile device sales. Many modern “smart-devices” have built-in cameras to capture and display still images, video, and sophisticated music playback abilities. Your basic smartphone has at least one camera, sometimes two if you count the front-facing cameras used for video chat and self portraits.
