I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The most informed man in the studio might surprise you.
In order to make sense of what happened to me next, I need to jump back and talk about someone from the past whose memory helped me a lot at this time.
I never knew Claude's last name, but he performed a service at the Walt Disney Studios that was not unimportant. It was Claude who kept the men's rooms on all three floors of Walt's Animation Building sparkling clean.
Claude was an older gentleman about the age of my parents. It was notable that his was the first black face I saw at the Walt Disney Studios. Always cheerful, he greeted me with a smile as he made his daily rounds through the many wings of the creative facility. I often wondered ...
