My involvement with animation grew from a need to find the right art form for my interests and personality. I have always loved to paint and draw, and I began my college years as an art major. But I became increasingly frustrated by the struggle to create a single compelling image until I finally stopped painting altogether and left art school to reconsider the direction of my studies.
