analog: a reproduction that is directly physically connected to its source material, such as a sound recording of a breaking wave.
animatic: a collection of static images composited together with a soundtrack that creates a sequence in preproduction.
armature: a structural framework (static or jointed) that acts as a base for stop-motion models.
aspect ratio: the dimensional shape of a projected image.
axis: virtual line on which a character moves, defining direction, height, and space.
bandwidth: the quantity of digital data that can be processed by a network connection in a set time period.
camera-ready: a model that has been built, placed, positioned on set, and tested.
