When it comes to the important personal dimensions of leadership, and the pivotal role you play yourself in enacting what you stand for, I’m a big fan of the work of Warren Bennis, one of the most eminent thinkers in this field. His landmark book On Becoming a Leader—the title of which inspired the heading of this section—is one I often recommend.
