Pets are fun to draw because they have so much personality and give us the opportunity to work with interesting neutral color combinations and textures. Drawing our pets helps us to connect with them. My cat, Zipper, is the light of my life and brings me so much joy. I love drawing her into my artwork. I find that adding animals to my illustrations instantly gives a piece a more personal feel.
