MIXING IT UP WITH MULTIMEDIA
“Multimedia” means just that: multiple art mediums. Have you ever worked on an artwork and felt like you just couldn’t get the effect you wanted with the one medium you were using? Fear no longer! Multimedia art allows you to stretch your horizons and use other mediums to create without limits.
When making multimedia art, you combine different art supplies to create an interesting and innovative effect. Some of my favorite mediums to combine with colored pencil are pen and ink, graphite pencil, and watercolor. However, you could use anything, from permanent markers and highlighters to an old white-out pen that adds an unexpected touch to your colored-pencil art.
