Wherever you are, you can always find an interesting subject to paint using the objects around you. Some objects are easy because they are special, colorful, or full of patterns. Others won’t seem interesting or meaningful to you, but if you take a closer look, you will find that every single object can be made into a good painting. Look at the tools you use to draw, the books or personal items on your bedside table, knickknacks in a box full of souvenirs, boxes of food on top of your fridge, or a clock at the post office—the possibilities are endless.
