Hand lettering is a popular form of illustration. Even with the infinite array of digital fonts and typefaces, there’s something about hand-lettered words that adds a unique and personal touch to an illustration. You can add lettering to any piece, change elements of a letter, add swoops and swirls, and embellish to your heart’s content! Hand lettering can be part of a larger illustration, like a title, or it can be the illustration itself, like a quote.
