IBM DB2 JDBC Universal Driver for Derby

The Apache Derby Network Server supports a traditional client-server framework in which many clients executing in different JVMs can connect to the same Apache Derby database. The Network Server routes requests to the database and returns results to the clients. This requires a client JDBC driver that can talk to the Apache Derby Network Server, and many are available now, including the Derby Network Client and the IBM DB2 JDBC Universal driver mentioned in this section.
