The YMLD Windows application was written entirely in Visual Basic .NET. However, to access Apache Derby, some additional software is required:
ODBC .NET Data Provider— The ODBC .NET Data Provider is an add-on component of the .NET Framework. This component provides access to native ODBC drivers. If you do not have a copy of the ODBC .NET Data Provider, you can download it from the Microsoft Web site (http://www.microsoft.com).
DB2 Client— Applications that are going to access the Apache Derby database across the network require the DB2 client. DB2 Run-time Client Lite is available from http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/db2/runtime.html.
