ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Christina Nishiyama has over 15 years of human resource and organizational development experience, as well as a history of leadership in project management, finance, and information technology. Christina received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego and her MBA from San Diego State University. She also holds her SPHR and SHRM-CP certifications and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in learning sciences with a focus on group dynamics in technology settings. She has served on SHRM’s National Young Professionals Advisory Board and as Board Chair of Southern Nevada SHRM Young Professionals.
