In this chapter we’ll work through putting your app into the Apple App Store. We’ll use a lot of what we learned in Chapter 8 to create our archives, which will become our product in the App Store. Depending on what you choose as a career path in iOS engineering, it might be a while before this becomes something you do professionally. In most medium or larger software agencies, a separate department often handles distribution to the commercial App Store, to the Business-to-Business (B2B) side , or to the Enterprise, bypassing the App Store altogether.
