And instead of having only three channels (and maybe a fourth on a sunny day), endless options are available on live television and multiple streaming platforms. You can watch television all day long just about anywhere you are, and you’ll never run out of options.
Apple has provided streaming content from other providers for years through the iTunes Store, and you could watch that content on the TV app (formerly known as Videos). Apple’s first in-house foray into the streaming market was Apple TV, a device that connects to your television, pumping content to it from all over the Internet. Apple then created Apple TV+ and quickly began producing an award-winning lineup of shows and movies (Apple Originals).
