So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing Lion Server
It is possible to purchase a Mac with Lion Server pre-installed. However, you may find yourself upgrading an existing Mac with OS X Snow Leopard, Snow Leopard Server, or Lion to Lion Server. Before you purchase Lion Server on the Mac App Store, confirm that your Mac is indeed eligible to run Lion Server.
Verifying System Requirements
Before you install Lion Server, confirm that your system meets the hardware requirements. You can find this information on the label attached to the box of every Mac sold, or you can find it with the About This Mac and System Information applications.
