Configuring an Administrator Computer
You can configure, monitor, and manage a Lion Server from another computer (referred to as an administrator computer), simply by installing the Server app on that administrator computer. Additionally, you can download and install the Server Administration Tools.
Note
Use only Macs with Lion or Lion Server to administer Lion Server. Do not use earlier versions of Mac OS X or Mac OS X Server.
There are two ways to obtain the Server app. You can:
• Copy the Server app from a computer that’s already configured as a server; or you can:
• Install “OS X Lion Server” from the Mac App Store.
