• Prepare a computer for a new installation of OS X
• Successfully upgrade or install OS X
• Troubleshoot potential installation problems
Every Mac computer has some version of OS X preinstalled when built. The version of OS X that ships with a computer is usually the latest available at the time. Thus, every Mac will at some time need a later version of the operating system to have the latest features and updates. This lesson guides you through both upgrading an existing system and performing a new installation. This lesson also includes troubleshooting issues that may arise during these processes.
