1. Setup and Configuration

Final Cut Pro allows you to edit video using all current Mac computers. The combination of 64-bit hardware, OS X, and Final Cut Pro accelerates the process of combining your creative thoughts with raw media to produce a polished, professional project. What’s more, Final Cut Pro allows you to customize behaviors to suit your unique work style. Some of those preferences streamline media management; others allow you to personalize efficient keyboard shortcuts and workflow aids.

Application Preferences

You can find the Final Cut Pro preference settings by choosing Final Cut Pro > Preferences. In preferences, you’ll find five panes: General, Editing, Playback, Import, and Destinations.
