When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Apple Hardware Test
To use AHT, you must boot from the AHT CD using the same procedure used for starting up from any CD. That is, insert the AHT CD into the optical drive on the system that you need to check, choose Restart from the Apple menu (Mac OS X) or from the Special menu (Mac OS 9), then press the C key until the Mac displays a small “loading” icon.
It takes about a minute or so before the Apple Hardware Test window appears. Notice the three tabs: Apple, Hardware Tests, and Hardware Profile. The Apple tab reveals information about AHT, such as the version number. By default, the Hardware Tests tab is active.
