If you run an organization with several hundred users, how can you
make sure they all have the same items in their Dock? Printers? The
Finder interface? In previous lessons, you learned management tech-
niques involving the user name, password, and home folder. There are
many other aspects to user account management, and it is important to
understand how these various aspects interact with each other. When
applying other types of management to your user and group accounts,
consider that there are also two other types of management—computer
and computer group accounts—to add to your options. Careful plan-
ning will reveal the best way to implement your management, whether
it is based on user accounts, group accounts, computer accounts, com-
puter group accounts, or a combination of all four.
