View (and Capture) Photos
Even though the Apple Watch’s screen is small, it still has a high enough resolution to show photos. Any photo you mark as a favorite in the Photos app on your iPhone (or, if you use iCloud Photo Library, any Mac or iOS device using the same account) appears automatically on the watch.
The Apple Watch can also take photos—sort of. The Camera Remote app on the watch controls the Camera app in the iPhone, making the watch a remote shutter release. It’s great for taking a group shot that you’re in, without running to beat the timer or holding the iPhone at arm’s length.
