Oh, how I pine for the good old days. You know, when the remote control in the home was you. Your mom or dad would say, “Change it to the Andy Griffith Show on channel 5,” and you’d trudge from the couch to the television and flip the knob until the perpetually fuzzy channel 5 popped up on the screen.

Okay, after thinking about it, I don’t pine for those days. Not at all. Nope.

Now, please don’t get me wrong — I still like the Andy Griffith Show, but I let my Apple Watch do the heavy lifting of remotely controlling what we play on our Apple TV. Now I can enjoy the greatest show in the history of history (don’t even argue with me) without wearing a trail on the carpet between the couch and the telly.

Life is good.
