Using Web Forms

Now that you've seen the core of the ASP.NET framework, we can turn our attention to the first of the higher-level toolkits that are built upon it: Web Forms. As you'll learn, Web Forms is a much misunderstood technology that can be surprisingly useful in the right circumstances. In the chapters that follow, I'll show you how Web Forms works, explain how it relates to the core ASP.NET framework, and give some general guidance about when Web Forms should be used.
