Using the MVC Framework

The MVC framework is a relatively recent addition to ASP.NET and provides a very different and more modern approach to web application development compared to Web Forms. If you are familiar with Ruby on Rails, for example, you'll recognize a lot of common themes in the MVC framework.

In the chapters that follow, I'll show you how the MVC framework fits into the ASP.NET world, explain how to create application using the MVC framework, and demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses of this new technology.
