So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Summary
In Part 1 of this book, we presented two important mathematical disciplines: logic and set theory. These two disciplines are the most relevant ones in the application of mathematics to the field of databases.
Chapter 1 offered an introduction to logic.
