Writing and making research presentations for public administration and nonprofit organizations takes many different forms depending on the audience for the materials. In applied research, we write reports for others when we have examined their organizational or issue area needs, called needs assessments, or when we have examined their work processes or the efficacy of their efforts, called generically funder reports.
