A traveller on a trip to a rural area stopped to ask an old-timer for directions on how to arrive at his destination. The old-timer answered, “If I wanted to go there, I wouldn’t start from here”. If we want to fix some problems that we perceive to exist, the advice might be similar. It might be better to go back in time before some present policies were put in place. Unfortunately, we don’t have that option. Mistakes have been made and mistaken policies adopted. It is not possible to put our gears in reverse. We are stuck with having to start from where we are.
