Transaction-based delivery

Although message-oriented middleware can manage message traversal, an assurance that transmissions are received may also be required. With a transaction-based delivery service, both the message-oriented middleware and the receiving client participate in the transaction. All message communications operations are, therefore, performed under a single transactional context guaranteeing ACID (short for Atomic, Consistent, Isolated, Durable) behavior.
