The tables included in this part provide a variety of reference data for unit masonry and stone. In addition to basic physical properties and sizes, there is information to help you design and detail proper dimensions, select finishes, and understand tolerances. For concrete masonry units, the tables give a quick and easy way to select the proper construction assemblies for thermal and fire resistance. Finally, there is a table to help determine the correct dimensions for fireplaces.
