A Portable Solar Power Source

A fairly consistent theme throughout this book has been the use of low power amateur radio equipment. One reason is because low power often means low cost. QRP operation, especially for CW, is possible with a relatively small capital expenditure. We also felt that, concentrating on less expensive equipment, which typically has fewer bells and whistles, would encourage the reader to try some of the projects presented in this book so they could add the bells and whistles they wanted at fairly low cost.
