INTRODUCTION TOACRYLICPAINTING

Acrylic is a very distinctive painting medium. In addition to having a unique look and feel of its own, it can mimic other media, such as watercolor, oil, and even pastel. It’s as convenient and quick-drying as watercolor, as permanent as oil, and as vibrant as pastel. Moreover, it’s extremely versatile; it can be thinned with water to near transparency or applied in thick strokes straight from the tube.
