Abstract
Among the many new areas seeing fast adoption of digital twin technology is healthcare facility management, which had its origins in engineering and manufacturing. By allowing the production of virtual duplicates that mirror the actual environment and activities in real time, digital twins have the potential to change the management of healthcare facilities. This study aims to examine this possibility. The research starts with a brief introduction to digital twin technology before moving on to describe the main features, including sensors, data analytics, and simulation models. Optimal allocation of resources, assurance of patient safety, and improvement of operational efficiency are some of the specific challenges faced by healthcare administrators.
