Image Recognition
In this chapter, we are going to learn about object detection and tracking. First, we will spend some time understanding why image recognition is important for machine learning. We will then learn about an image recognition package called OpenCV, which is a popular library for computer vision. We will also learn how to install OpenCV and discuss frame differencing to see how we can detect the moving parts in a video. We will learn how to track objects using color spaces, and how to use background subtraction to track objects. After that we will build an interactive object tracker using the CAMShift algorithm and learn how to build an optical flow-based tracker.
