Appendix B. Compiling Custom Objects

Within this appendix, you’ll see how to compile the ball object created in Chapter 2 into a component that you can place in your application bin directory so you can use it as a fully functional object just like all the ASP.NET server controls.

Just as in the rest of the book, I will demonstrate this in both Visual Basic .NET and C#, but unlike other examples, I won’t demonstrate them in parallel. First I will explain the entire process in VB.NET, followed by the entire process in C#.
