TEAMBUILDING
After being on call for 24 hours, the last thing Dr. Martinez wanted to do was admit another patient to the ICU before leaving that morning. Fresh out of medical school and having just started her residency, she wasn’t used to these long shifts. Tired and hungry, she set about writing admission orders for her patient. Mr. Singh was diabetic and since his blood sugar was so high, he needed insulin now.
