Align Talent Development to the Organization’s Needs

Aligning talent development requires that you understand the organization’s strategy and how talent development can support achieving the goals leading up to the strategy. Knowing the end result your organization is trying to reach is the first step to alignment. The second step is to understand how talent development can support the attainment of the goals, what it will cost to reach the goals, and what will happen if the goals are not met.
