Learning On the Job

On-the-job training occurs every day in every organization. Employees are new to the work, the work itself changes, technology changes, company policies change, and a dozen other reasons.

Most people are not born coaches, but it is a skill that everyone can learn. On-the-job training will continue to be an important delivery mechanism in many organizations.
