As talent development professionals and learning leaders, we have an obligation to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape we call work and learning. Each year, Deloitte University Press conducts research around human capital trends. The 2017 report, Rewriting the Rules for the Digital Age: Deloitte Global Human Capital Trends, stated that it “reflects seismic changes in the world of business. This new era … has fundamentally transformed business, the broader economy, and society” (Bersin et al. 2017).
“Seismic changes.” That’s huge! Are you ready for a world of high risk at an increased pace of change? We need to find ways to empower our workforce and help them continue to learn—faster, constantly.
