Proposal management refers to the collective efforts of a division of an organization or a task force of project management professionals toward the delivery of a set of plans for funding of a project whose mission is to create a specific deliverable. The mission of this task force or division is to perform whatever functions that might be necessary in order to keep the drafting of the proposal on target. Task force suggests that it is temporary and many organizations use a task force for proposal development.
