One of the most important aspects of production is the proper linking of tasks with techniques to achieve the desired results. In this section I will discuss how to streamline your production chain to create high-quality assets—music, sound effects, and voice. In his excellent book The Fat Man on Game Audio: Tasty Morsels of Sonic Goodness, George Alistair Sanger describes his music-writing process in a good amount of detail, including information about the computers and software he uses. This is perhaps the best practical information in the book and is absolutely fascinating. Don't let the fact that I was its technical editor deter you from buying a copy.
