CHAPTER 7 Implementing Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express in SRST Mode
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CUCME) has many features, benefits, and limitations compared to CUCM. This chapter explains those features, as well as the process of registering IP Phones with CUCME for Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST). This chapter also discusses the basic telephony-service commands for configuring ephones and ephone-dns. This includes some basic hunting, a desirable feature of CUCME in SRST mode over (basic) Cisco Unified SRST.
