Controlling Layer Visibility
In traditional drafting, separate drawings would have to be made for the floor plan and the reflected ceiling plan to represent the floor and ceiling of the same space. In AutoCAD, simply displaying some layers while hiding others allows you to create some of the drawings required to graphically describe the space.
To better understand how to do this, you need to learn how to toggle layer status, isolate layers to work without distraction, and save layer states to quickly recall the layer status of multiple layers.
