In this lesson, apply a gradient to text, then apply a source image as an outline, and animate the text.

Overview

You can use gradients to create smooth transitions between colors in text objects. With gradients, you can create colorful, eye-catching graphics or text in motion graphics projects.

In this lesson:

• Create a Text branch and replace the background with an image sequence.

• Add text to the clip and apply a three-color gradient.

• Create a text outline and use a source image for texture.
