Using Masks
Lesson 26
In this lesson, create a mask to make a dinosaur appear from behind a building.
Overview
Used as an effect operator or as part of a Paint operator, masks are valuable for hiding parts of an image and for rotoscoping purposes. The advanced features of the vector-based masks allow greater control over mask feathering and animation. In this lesson, import two image sequences and add a mask to reveal different areas in the clip.
Note: Masks are compatible with other Autodesk products such as Discreet@ Inferno@, Discreet Flame@, and Discreet Flint@, enabling a parallel creative workflow.
